Frequently Asked Questions

Our mission is to build a supportive community for comic book creators and provide some insight that will help us collaborate with each other by acting as a forum for feedback on the quality of our work and professionalism.

Yes! It doesn't matter what country you live in or how much experience you have. But please be respectful of our space and time and join only if you are serious about being a comic book creator. This is a serious dream for us and should not be taken lightly.

No. You retain all rights. CPD holds no rights to any of the displayed work.

After logging in, click on "Update my profile" at the top right.

You can sort the profiles by date, star ratings, price and membership type. But the default sorting sequence on the home page is the profile with the latest activity goes to the top.

Take it with a grain of salt. Feedback is just information that you get to decide how you will react to it, use it, or ignore it. We encourage civility and constructive criticism. A mean-spirited or unfair review says more about the reviewer than it does about you.

Be professional and civil and give fair, constructive criticism. A good way to be fair is to give positive feedback as well as negative feedback if any. And remember, these reviews are NOT anonymous.

You can post pages of comic books you’ve been involved in, covers or script pages. But regular comic pages is probably best.

You can say so in your review and do let us know.

Yes. Please only contact other creators on this site if you are willing to pay people something. "Great exposure" is not payment.

Go to their profile, scroll down to "Peer Reviews" and click on "+ Add Review." As for criteria, that's entirely up to you.

Other members can review you and your work. You can invite people you've worked with to leave reviews by email by clicking on the link on your profile page that says "Invite reviewers."

A basic membership is free. But if you want to upload more than 10 portfolio pieces and see all the written reviews, it's a $2.99 monthly subscription.
