Bio:Erica Schultz is an American comic book writer, letterer and editor best known for her writing on Xena and Charmed (Dynamite Entertainment) and for her self published creator-owned crime series, M3 (Vice Press). She's a graduate of the DC Talent Development Writer's Workshop pilot program. In 2012, Schultz and M3 co-creator Vicente Alcázar won the Best Comic Book award at the Burbank International Film Festival. Schultz scripted Marvel’s original graphic novel, Revenge: The Secret Origin of Emily Thorne. She also served as a founding co-editor on RISE: Comics Against Bullying published by Northwest Press, contributing a story of her own titled “Brothers In Arms.” Schultz self-published a quirky, time-travel story titled The Unauthorized Biography of Winston Churchill: A Documentary, with artist Claire Connelly. In 2015, Schultz was chosen by Gail Simone as one of the many female writers to be involved with the Swords of Sorrow crossover series. Schultz wrote the Swords of Sorrow: Black Sparrow & Lady Zorro one-shot and co-wrote the Swords of Sorrow: Masquerade & Kato one-shot with G. Willow Wilson. Also in 2015, Schultz wrote a story titled “Pop Goes the World” for the Vertigo Comics anthology Vertigo Quarterly: SFX #1, and she wrote “A Seminal Vintage” for Red Stylo Media/Action Lab’s The 27 Club: A Comic Anthology. Schultz teamed up again with artist Connelly to self-publish the farmyard dark comedy/romance Cheese: A Love Story. She has released a creator-owned crime thriller called Twelve Devils Dancing with Action Lab Danger Zone, and is currently writing Xena for Dynamite Comics. Her Daredevil Annual comes out from Marvel Comics August 2018.

Review: I am currently working with Erica on a five issue comic book series, THE RESURRECTED. I connected with Erica in 2016 because of this website (thanks!). Erica has been an amazing editor; both for my plot outlines and for my scripts (three completed so far). Not only this, but she has helped me, a first time comic writer, understand how the industry works and has also connected me with other collaborators for my project. The ratings I gave her below are not exaggerated...
